Humayun Ahmed Biography:

Humayun Ahmed is one of our most Popular writers, He wore numerous caps amid his lifetime. These include: producer, screenwriter, writer, writer, instructor and playwright. He has written many books which are very popular and best seller in Bangali literature. The amount of his Fan and readers is out of calculation because of his mass popularity. He has started writing in the early of 1970. He has published his first novel in 1972 named ‘Nandito Naroke’.
He was a substantial donor to the universe of expressive arts and is regularly thought to be the Shakespeare of Bangladesh. Amid his time, he composed more than 200 true to life and fiction books,

Humayun Ahmed was born on November 13, 1948 at Mohongang in Netrokona. His fathers name is Faizur Rahman Ahmed and mothers name is Ayesha Foyez. His father was killed in 1971 during the liberation war of Bangladesh. He has two brothers named Mohammad Jafar Iqbal and Ahsan Habib respectively. They are also popular writers in Bangladesh.
Ahmed married Gultekin In 1973. Together they had three daughters, Shila, Nova, and Bipasha, and one son, Nuhash. Ahmed fell in love with a TV actress in the middle of the 1990s. Later, in 2003, Ahmed divorced Gultekin and married Meher Afroz Shaon in 2005. He had two sons from the second marriage, Ninit and Nishad .
In 2011 Humayun Ahmed was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. He died on 19 July 2012 at 11.20 PM BST at Bellevue Hospital in New York City.
